Funding Information

Most elders pay for adult day services through retirement benefits, savings and assistance from family members. Some elders have long term care insurance policies that will reimburse the insured for some or all of the cost of adult day care services. We encourage you to talk with your insurance company representative and look closely at your policy coverage. For those elders without the financial means, Senior Class is committed to assisting families in identifying resources to enable their loved one to participate in our program.
Veteran Benefits:

Effective August 1, 2008, Senior Class has been awarded a VA Contract which allows us to bill the VA directly for our day care services. Senior Class can assist eligible veterans with the application process necessary to obtain VA benefits. Please call Linda Steir for more information.

Our Center accepts Medicaid funding. In order to qualify for Medicaid coverage for adult day services, the individual must meet the low income and age requirements or be determined to be eligible for the New Hampshire Home and Community Based Care Waiver (“HCBC”). If eligible, day care services may be covered for up to five days per week as determined by the individual’s Medicaid case manager.

There are various state and federal grant programs which become available from time to time. Our staff will advise clients on programs for which they may be eligible to make application.
