We have fun!
At Senior Class Adult Day, we offer many opportunities for participants to achieve a sense of self-worth as well as to mingle with each other and have some fun.  Some of our regularly scheduled activities include:

Live Entertainment Weekly:
Our monthly activities program includes professional entertainers specializing in elder entertainment. Entertainers include singer/musicians, puppeteers, and dancers.

Senior Class Adult Day strives to make exercise fun and we incorporate it into our programs every day.  We recognize the importance of exercise in preventing and reversing osteoporosis, improving balance and, enhancing energy and well-being.  We incorporate floor games and chair sitting exercise routines led by our Activities staff.  Games include indoor bowling, indoor putting green, horse shoes, and ring toss - the elders love the competition!!!

Intergenerational Programming
We strive to include activities between elders and children where both groups benefit from each other and share their feelings, ideas, skills, and affection. Older adults are energized by the children while the children recognize the elders' value and learn that aging is a natural part of life. We have visitations from middle and high school students for activities including letter writing, decorating and helping with planned activities are designed to bring together two very different generations.

Men's Club
Special activities and bonding experiences for elders who often feel left out in conventional adult day services programming. (Ladies are welcome!) Our Club room has chess, checkers, cribbage and board games available. Fun puzzles are always available to work on.

Arts & Crafts
Our Center has a large Arts & Crafts room and supplies and daily programs to keep elders active and productive. Most of our holiday decorations are prepared by our participants. Activities include scrapbooking of participants’ pictures and memories for them to share with their families.

Our wonderful kitchen staff hosts a cooking class weekly for those who wish to participate.  The yummy products of the cooking class are enjoyed by our members and staff later in the day.

We bring back memories with our Memory Corner and memorabilia. We host Bible Study twice monthly and yes, we have a TV but we discourage mindless viewing and mostly use it for selected classic movie videos.

For more information on activities, please e-mail our Activities Director, call 603-329-4401, or be sure to inquire about the programs in a comprehensive tour of our facilities.
